MEMORIAL WEEKEND CAMPOUT & POT LUCK DINNER

Join us for a long Memorial Weekend for a campout at my property in Kaufman. Just one hour east of Dallas but it feels like another world. Come for the day and our Saturday night pot luck dinner (6:30) or camp all weekend. Enjoy countless hours of water fun swimming, fishing, paddling kayaks and paddle boards, hike the scenic jungle trail or tour the drive through Texas Zoofari Park next door and feed their 1200 exotic animals from your car.
My 31 acre property is heavily wooded with two ponds stocked with cat, bass, crappie and bluegill and it is much more peaceful than most State Parks. There are plenty of water front sites that are perfect for tent camping groups or individuals or you can rent the charming Hummingbird Tree House that overlooks the front pond for $150 per night (sleeps up to 2 adults and two small kids in the loft).
There is no charge for day visits but overnight camping requires you to make a reservation and pay through HipCamp. I charge $25 per adult per day for tent camping, kids 12 and under is $12 per kid per day. To see more images, read reviews and register go to texcamp.com.
