White Rock Paddling & Arboretum Concert

Join us for a magical night of paddling on White Rock and listening to the Arboretums concert. This evening will feature a Queen cover band. We will meet at the Bath House ( 521 East Lawther) at 6:00 and have a tailgate picnic, then paddle south along the east shoreline, explore the creeks and coves, then on to the Arboretum. The concert starts at 7:30. We will have a flotilla of canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and sailboats, listening to the music and socializing while watching the sunset behind the Dallas skyline. Then we paddle back to the Bath House (the best lit area around White Rock) after dark. There will be NTC&D members with extra kayaks to loan so RSVP and post a comment if you need to borrow a boat. If you do borrow a boat you are commiting to staying until the boat owner is ready to leave. We don't want unattended boats and it's a good idea to paddle together after dark.
