Welcome to the Texas CMMC Meetup! This group was assembled to bring together local folks with CMMC requirements, and others with the skillsets to facilitate that.
A) Organizations Seeking Certification (OSCs, DoD vendors, "the DIB"),
B) CMMC practitioners (CCAs, CCPs),
C) Certified 3rd Party Assessor Organizations (C3PAOs),
D) Licensed Publishing Providers and Licensed Training Providers (LPPs and LTPs)
E) Other DIB-related interested parties (RPs, RPAs, RPOs)
This forum is primarily to have discussions examining the latest trends and best practices related to CMMC preparation, pre-assessment, self-assessment, and third-party assessments.
We can explore how securing our sector intersects with the broader implications of cybersecurity on our warfighter community, as the "why" part of this entire program, if the membership determines that this is an interest.
Whether you are a seasoned CMMC cohort from the original provisionals, or just starting out in the field, join us for networking, knowledge sharing, and learning opportunities. We will organize regular monthly meetings, and potentially pull together special events to cover breaking news and updates to the ecosystem.
