Welcome, Dharma friends! 🙏
Purpose Lab is a friendly weekly meetup for anyone curious about Buddhism and the deeper question: What is the purpose and meaning of our life?
Each week we offer a short introductory Dharma presentation, followed by open Q&A and discussion. No prior knowledge of Buddhism is needed—everyone is welcome!
Our gatherings include both newcomers and regular members, creating a warm sangha community where we learn from one another.
Meeting format

  • First 20 minutes: introductions and icebreaker (please keep your camera on)
  • Dharma talk + Q&A
  • The presentation portion may be recorded and uploaded to YouTube for premium members

About the teachings
In Buddhism, life’s purpose is not limited to short-term goals like career, marriage, or retirement. Instead, it points toward a deeper mission: discovering genuine happiness that transcends suffering.
The Buddha taught that all people face fundamental challenges—such as aging, sickness, loss, and death. Through Buddhist practice, reflection, and compassion, we can learn to navigate these realities and move toward a more meaningful life.
Practicing kindness, self-reflection, and gratitude while supporting one another on this journey is an important part of the path.
