Cob Oven Workshop @ Liberty Manor!!

We are building a cob barrel oven at

Liberty Manor (https://www.facebook.com/LibertyManorTX)

located in Dayton, Texas.

Liberty Manor is an adult alternative lifestyle community, campgrounds, and events center. The property is gorgeous!! (T.N.B. will be building many awesome structures on this property and this wonderful place will be the best display of natural building and repurposed building methods in the South Eastern part of Texas!!)

This is an adults only workshop, there will be no children allowed on this build, we will have future builds that will be all ages.

Learn to mix clay, sand and straw into the material known as cob, this material can be used to create beautiful sculpted structures such as homes, wood fired ovens, garden walls, chick

en coops, dog houses, play houses, massage and yoga temples and many many more uses!!

Items to bring:
Tents and camping equipment.
Clothes you don't mind getting stained with clay.
Work gloves if you prefer not to use direct hands in mud, (rubber gloves like gardening gloves work best.)
Shoes you don't care about cleaning if you don't want to use bare feet!!
A 5'x8' tarp to mix the cob on

The fee for this workshop is $100 this provides full access to the campgrounds for their one year anniversary celebration including a camping spot, but there will be other workshops that will have their own fee's that are not included.
