About the Forum
The Corridor Forum spotlights the Texas–Northeast Mexico Corridor, a rapidly emerging North American mega region spanning Texas, Nuevo León, and Coahuila. With a combined economy of $2.9 trillion, the corridor rivals the New York–Boston region ($3.5T) and surpasses the Chicago–Great Lakes region in scale.
Texas anchors this corridor with over 90% of total output, underscoring its role as America’s second-largest state economy. Yet, the integration of Monterrey’s industrial dynamism, Coahuila’s manufacturing base, and Texas’s innovation-led growth is positioning this region as the growth engine of North America.
Hosted by F50 Nexus, and supported by INCMty and the Long 100 Corridor Forum, the event convenes leaders across government, industry, real estate, and investment to chart the future of this cross-border powerhouse.
Growth Dynamics
- Population Growth: Expanding at ~1.5% annually, outpacing the near stagnation of the Northeast and Midwest. Monterrey’s metro boom and Texas’s strong migration are driving demographics.
- Economic Expansion: GDP up ~70% in the past decade, fueled by technology, energy, and advanced manufacturing — comparable to Southern California’s trajectory, and significantly faster than the Northeast.
- Strategic Position: The corridor is becoming a binational hub for supply chains, real estate, and logistics, reflecting the shift of North America’s growth engine toward the Sun Belt and cross-border economies.
