Memeraki connects people to Indian art with items to be worn, one of a kind hand-painted accessories, usually bags and clutches made on silk, leather or wood. There are many different art forms, each with a particular name and meaning (described on their website https://www.memeraki.com/)
Curious about the technique, tools and process, the pigments…? Welcome to discover and create your artwork painting a tote bag the organisers will provide during the workshop or any other object you want to bring.
(I can’t attend all the session, but the Encompass team and the artists will be happy to host those joining)
