What we’re about
The TGQ Social is a monthly social gathering for the gender spectrum: genderqueers, trans ladies, trans fellas, gender non-conforming types and all directly connected allies. We meet twice every month to enjoy each other's company. Always new and old people there, so feel welcome to come if you are new! Always a great time catching up on all of life's twists and turns. We are a community, a place to find friends and get advice from people who see you for who you really are. Come hang with us, we look forward to meeting you!

TGQ Social North!
SLAB BBQ & Beer, 9012 Research Blvd C4, Austin, TX, USCome to the TGQ Social 2, another 🎉 🤗 💜 monthly social get-together of gender diverse people 🏳️⚧️ and their directly connected allies! (The other Social is the original one at The Butterfly Bar.) This Social will always be on the fourth Saturday of the month.
We will be at Slab BBQ on Research Blvd and Burnet Rd. It's next door to the Emerald Tavern, a popular gamers hang-out (which is always super crowded!) with a great food menu, and Nissi Vegan Mexican Cuisine. There is a broad range of food and drink options. (We picked Slab BBQ out of the three because its layout seems the most suitable for us, in addition to being a Black-owned business.)
Come catch up with friends, make new friends, or just be with the community!
First-timers and anybody else who wants to, can come at 4:30 pm for an informal meet-and-greet.
NOTE: Slab BBQ closes at 8 pm on Saturdays which is why TGQ Social 2 will end at 8 pm. People often goes next door to the Emerald Tavern to continue the festivities.5 attendeesTGQ Social North!
