About us
The TGQ Social is a monthly social gathering for the gender spectrum: genderqueers, trans ladies, trans fellas, gender non-conforming types and all directly connected allies. We meet twice every month to enjoy each other's company. Always new and old people there, so feel welcome to come if you are new! Always a great time catching up on all of life's twists and turns. We are a community, a place to find friends and get advice from people who see you for who you really are. Come hang with us, we look forward to meeting you!

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-Come to the TGQ Social 2, another 🎉 🤗 💜 monthly social get-together of gender diverse people 🏳️⚧️ and their directly connected allies! (The other Social is the original one at The Butterfly Bar.) Come come catch up with friends, make new friends, or just be with the community! This Social will always be on the fourth Saturday of the month.
Please note that beginning Dec 27, 2025, the TGQ North will take place at Nosh & Bevy, a very inclusive "English pub" just 1/4 mile South of Slab BBQ! They are spacious, have great food and drink options, and a nice sheltered outdoor area. Best of all, they're open 'til late! We think it'll be a great location for the TGQ North!
First-timers and anybody else who wants to, can come at 4:30 pm for an informal meet-and-greet.
NOTE: Slab BBQ closes at 8 pm on Saturdays which is why TGQ Social 2 will end at 8 pm. People often goes next door to the Emerald Tavern to continue the festivities.

The TGQ Social is a social gathering only for gender diverse people and their directly connected loved ones and allies. It is a space for our community to support each other, to socialize, and to be safe with each other. Please be respectful to everyone. We do not tolerate crude behavior, inappropriate language, and unwanted interactions. If you are the target of such uncool stuff, please report it immediately to the organizers.
