- Mill Valley Hike to a Historic Inn and Pancake Breakfast!810 Panoramic Hwy, Mill Valley, CA
Do you like hiking? Do you like pancakes?
If the answer to either of these questions is ‘yes’ - consider joining me for a Sunday hike in Mill Valley to the historic West Point Inn for a full pancake breakfast put on by WPI volunteers. The history of the inn dates back to the late 19th century when it was a stop on the “The Crookedest Railroad in the World” (A stomach churning 281 turns) from Mill Valley to the East Peak of Mt Tamalpais.
Pancake breakfasts are from 9am to 1pm. The cost is $13 for an adult portion and $8 for kids (under 12 yo). Blueberries are available when in season for additional $2.
June 16th is Father’s Day and this event will end by 12pm for those with afternoon plans. So whether you’re into hiking or just looking to sculpt that dad bod with a stack of pancakes, read on for further details:

David - Music in the Park- San Carlos- The E Ticket BandBurton Park, San Carlos, CA
Welcome Summer! I have tried to plan at 1 event every week to experience an activity around the Peninsula. Each site usually does weekly events, so you can attend more or go with friends if you like the venue.
Send me a message and consider hosting. Hosting actually requires very little since I did the hard part of figuring out dates and posting. It just requires a friendly face and responding on the event page the day of the event.
The 2024 Music in the Park Concert Series will occur on Fridays, 06/14/24 - 08/02/24, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The concerts are held at the beautiful Burton Park at 900 Chestnut Street. For the best concert experience, be sure to bring a blanket or chair (and even a picnic!). Beer, wine, and other beverages are sold onsite by the Parks and Recreation Foundation of San Carlos. The Music in the Park concerts bring the community together to enjoy the summer weather, great music and the outdoors. These events are free to the public and sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Foundation of San Carlos.
