đŁď¸The SpeakersđŁď¸
**The API-fication of Data Engineering with Data Contracts**
***Samhita Sarkar, Data Engineering Tech Lead at HP Inc***
***([Samhita's LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/samhitasarkar/))***
***Talk Abstract:***
Traditional data engineering is often reactive, relying on fragile pipelines that break whenever upstream software changes. By adopting Data Contracts, teams can shift toward a formal, versioned interface modelled after software APIs. This architectural evolution treats data as a public product, ensuring stability and ending the cycle of constant firefighting.
***Samhita's Bio:***
Samhita is a Data Engineering Tech Lead at HP Inc, having worked across diverse domains including marketing, supply chain and insurance in her career. Samhita is passionate about empowering others having mentored over 100 individuals, guiding them to navigate the career path in data engineering.
**A data platform: The one we planned and the one we ended up with.**
***Luke Ashe-Browne, Co-Founder and Director of Technology & Consulting at Tyme Technologies ([Luke's LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/lukeab/))***
***Talk Abstract:***
Most data platform talks describe the version on the whiteboard. This one is about the version that arrives afterwards, once the design has met scale, delivery pressure, and the people who have to operate it. Drawing on a recent build for a multi-brand European e-commerce group, it walks through where the gap between planned and actual tends to open up, why it usually widens before it closes, and the kinds of decisions that bring a platform back into shape. This talk offers a view from the honest middle, rather than another greenfield case study.
***Luke's Bio:***
Luke Ashe-Browne is Co-Founder and Director of Technology and Consulting at TYME Technologies, advising businesses and engineering leaders on strategic data platforms, platform engineering, AI and digital delivery programmes. Over 25 years he has led data platform, Cloud, SRE and Kubernetes programmes for clients spanning finance, retail, media, public sector and regulated institutions.

**Crypto, Not Coins: 3 Lessons in Password Security**
When we talk about âcryptoâ, most people think of coins.
This talk is about the kind that protects your users.
In this interactive session, weâll break down password security into 3 key lessons exploring encoding, encryption, and hashing - and why the difference matters more than you think..
Youâll find out:
* why some âsecureâ approaches fail instantly
* how attackers use GPUs to crack passwords at scale
* and why slowing things down is one of the best defences we have
No prior security knowledge needed - just curiosity. Expect live polls, practical examples, and a few surprising insights into how passwords really get cracked.

She now works on creating better experiences and benefits in HR tech - and enjoys making complex topics like security and cryptography simple, practical, and (hopefully) a bit fun.
**Translating Interview Speak: What Your Interviewer Really Wants to Know**

Youâll learn whatâs behind the interview questions and what employers are really looking for. This information can help you to develop your best
answers for your next job interview.
This is based on information from the new book, Interview Speak: What Your

Weâll cover how to:
* Prepare for interviews
* Answer common questions
* Avoid mistakes

How to Structure Real Estate Deals Using Seller Finance and Notes
Learn how seller finance and notes can create cash flow and new deal opportunities with 40-year investor Eddie Speed
**FREE TICKET** đď¸ https://www.eventbrite.com/e/how-to-structure-real-estate-deals-using-seller-finance-and-notes-tickets-1984826171509?aff=cicmeetupapp
Most real estate investors only know one way to make money:
Buy the property. Fix the property. Rent it or sell it.
But thereâs another side of real estate that can create cash flow, flexibility, and opportunity without only focusing on owning more property.
At this monthâs Columbus Investors Club, Tiffany and Josh High are sitting down with Eddie Speed - a real estate veteran with 40 years of experience who has closed more than 50,000 note deals. He has spent decades helping investors understand how to structure deals through seller finance and notes, and how to think more like the bank instead of just the buyer.
This will be a practical conversation around a part of real estate most people have heard about, but very few truly understand.
If youâve ever wanted to know how to create more opportunities in deals, generate cash flow in a different way, or understand how seller finance actually works in the real world, this is a night you want to be in the room for.
Youâll walk away thinking about deals differently, seeing new possibilities, and understanding how creative structuring can open doors that traditional investing alone canât.
**What Youâll Learn**
* How seller finance works in real estate deals
* How notes fit into real estate and create opportunity
* How to structure deals more creatively
* How investors generate cash flow by focusing on the payment
* How to think like the bank instead of only focusing on owning the property
* How this strategy can create flexibility in todayâs market
**Open Q&A - Ask Eddie Anything About**
* Seller finance and how to use it in real deals
* How notes work in a practical, beginner-friendly way
* Creating cash flow without only relying on rentals
* Structuring deals that others might miss
* How experienced investors think differently about financing
* Common mistakes investors make when they only focus on the property
**Why You Should Be in the Room**
Because the investors who win in the long run know how to do more than just buy houses.
They know how to structure. They know how to create terms. They know how to see opportunities other people miss.
This is the kind of conversation that can expand the way you think about real estate entirely.
Come ready to learn, ask questions, take notes, and connect with people who are serious about growing in this business.
**Reserve your free seat now - and be part of the conversation.**

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.
