Welcome Book Lovers! Join our Meet Up Group to find like-minded book readers! This event is for everybody interested in listening or sharing new book content or comment on it. You are welcome just to come for inspiration. You definitely don't need to read books at the moment. It is a gathering for everybody to find like-minded people interested in learning something new. :) Feel free to bring your own book with you. The event will take place at the volunteer organisation MUT. It is an organisation to supports humans, animals and the environment especially in Vienna. I am happy to host it there. We reserve our right to adapt the setup according to the audience level, vibe, health, weather, shape etc SETUP ● 2 courts (2 vs 2), 1 team is rotating or taking a rest court 1: minim 6 players court 2: minim 4 players ● 2 courts - 10-12 people (more players, we make small teams and play shorts, all combination; the hosts have the last word. proposals are welcome) ● The event organisers or experienced player are entitled to send players on the second court ● We are respectfull and warm with each other, our cultural and professional background is diverse. ● New proposals are welcome :). Book description: *The book, part of the renowned series “Medieval Life”, focuses on the city of Troyes, in France, in the year 1250 A.D. to talk about what it was like to live in a prosperous city in 13th century Europe. The authors describe what was the city government like, how trade worked, and how life was for all different types of people.* *This work sweeps away the image of the middle ages as an era of decay and show how Europe was going through a commercial revolution.*

Our goal is to ensure that every writer—regardless of genre or skill level—has access to the resources, community, and accountability that they need to be successful in their personal writing goals." And what this looks like at our event: We chat and give short introductions to what we are working on at 18:00, then start writing at 18:15. Though we try to start on dot, being late isn't a problem—just find a spot and get to work! We write until 20:00 and then discuss how our writing went. From fiction to non-fiction, academic papers to poetry, applications to work-related writing—anything goes! To ring in the warm weather, we're hosting our second annual Young Democrats Cornhole Tournament on May 17th! For those who don’t know, cornhole is an outdoor game where players take turns throwing bean bags at inclined boards with a hole in them to score points. The goal is to have fun, so whether you’re a seasoned cornhole pro or new to the game, everyone is welcome to join! Es ist keine perfekt inszenierte Show – sondern ein Ort, an dem Comedy entsteht. Hier probieren Comedians ihre neuesten Texte aus, feilen am Timing, improvisieren mit dem Publikum und lernen, was funktioniert. Das heißt: * Manchmal knallt ein Joke sofort – und alle feiern. * Manchmal floppt eine Pointe – und genau daraus wird ein unvergesslicher Moment. * Immer aber ist es spannend, nahbar und authentisch. Wenn du echte Comedy erleben willst – ohne Filter, ohne Drehbuch, ohne Sicherungsnetz – dann ist ein Open Mic genau dein Ding. Und **Lachflash Comedy Open Mic** ist Wiens neue Adresse dafür am Sonntag. ## 🍻 The Comedy Pub – Das Zuhause der Stand-up-Comedy in Wien Die Show findet im **The Comedy Pub** (Kettenbrückengasse 7, 1050 Wien) statt – Wiens erster und einziger echter Comedy-Club. Während andere Bars ab und zu Comedy hosten, ist das hier das Zentrum einer Szene. Oben erwartet dich ein gemütlicher Irish Pub mit Drinks, Snacks und freundlicher Atmosphäre. Unten im Altbaukeller – oder im offenen Pub-Bereich – wird jede Woche Stand-up gespielt, getestet und gefeiert. Die Location ist bekannt für ihr **nahbares, internationales Publikum** und ihr warmes, intimes Ambiente. Und das Beste: mit der U-Bahn-Station **Kettenbrückengasse (U4)** direkt vor der Tür bist du in wenigen Minuten mitten im Geschehen. ## 💡 Eintritt frei – Spenden willkommen Comedy lebt von Community. Damit möglichst viele Menschen Stand-up erleben können, ist der Eintritt frei. Aber: Lachen ist wertvoll – und wenn du einen **Lachflash** hattest, dann zeig das! All within a single game night. We play story games like Fiasco, Kingdom, Polaris and Microscope that encourage everyone at the table to participate creatively. We also have one-shots of indie, OSR, and narrative-focused RPGs such as Apocalypse World, Dread, Lady Blackbird, and Old School Essentials! Everybody's welcome!
