Self-Love: Confidence Through Expression
Confidence can be cultivated in many waysâthrough reflection, conversation, creativity, and practice. In this Confidence Lab session, weâll explore one powerful pathway: **building confidence from the inside out through physical expression and movement**.
This experience is designed to help you reconnect with your body as a source of insight, self-trust, and presence. Weâll begin by grounding into whatâs bringing you here, creating space to notice how your body is showing up and what itâs holding. From there, youâll be guided through accessible movement exercises that invite awareness and choiceâisolating different parts of the body, experimenting with movement, and practicing what it feels like to take up space intentionally.
Next, youâll participate in a small-group dance lesson led in a supportive, low-pressure environment. No dance experience is needed. The focus is not on performance or perfection, but on expression, curiosity, and allowing yourself to move with confidence as you are.
Weâll close with a reflective group discussion, exploring what emerged during the experience and how these insights can be applied beyond the studioâhow you inhabit your body, how you carry yourself, and how you show up in everyday life.
**What to know:**
* Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you feel good moving in
* No dance experience required
* Light snacks and beverages will be provided
This session is for anyone interested in deepening their relationship with confidence by listening to their body, expanding their capacity for self-expression, and practicing self-love as an embodied experience.

Friday Night French Conversation Hour
Bonjour tout le monde!
(English Below)
Venez nombreux!
A tres bientot

Hello everyone!
Itâs been a long time since weâve had a Friday night French meetup.
I suggest that we meet at the Junto Hotel in Columbus this coming Friday, 13 February 2026 at 7PM.
Thereâs a great spot with both outdoor and indoor areas, a cafĂ© (which closes at 7 p.m., come a bit early if that interests you), a restaurant, and a bar.
Parking is paid and is located right across from the science museum called COSI. There is additional free and paid street parking around at varying distances.
Itâs a bit expensive, but you donât have to buy anything since the area is really just a large hotel lobby. It's nice though.
I spoke with management, and theyâre happy to welcome us, though thereâs no specific space reserved just for us.
Itâll start at 7 p.m. and go until whenever.
Iâd like this to become a monthly event, and if this space doesnât suit us well, we can discuss other options.
Speaking and understanding French well is ideal but there may be learners there as well.
Iâm Brandon. Iâll be wearing a blue and white cap that says âQuĂ©bec.â
Come find us.
Valentine's Weekend: WUTHERING HEIGHTS at the Drexel Theatre!
Join us as we get together to see the steamy-romance-period-drama, WUTHERING HEIGHTS. Director Emerald Fennell gives us her take on the romance between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw from the classic Emily Bronte novel. Hereâs a description, trailer and plan for this event:
DESCRIPTION: The film tells a passionate and tumultuous love story set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, exploring the intense and destructive relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw. The film is directed by Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman, Saltburn) and is loosely based on the classic novel by Emily Bronte. It stars Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, Alison Oliver, Owen Cooper and Hong Chau!
TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fLCdIYShEQ
PLAN: Weâll plan for a 7pm-ish showing and will meet inside the lobby area about 30 minutes before the show begins. Advance ticket purchase not required for this theater but early arrival is advised! Be sure to mention youâre with the Movie Group for admission and concession discounts! And, after the movie, donât miss the best part of the night â food and drinks at the nearby Rusty Bucket! Complete details will be confirmed/announced as the date gets closer!
Look forward to seeing you there, Dan
