About us
Welcome to Thames Valley AI (TVAI)
TVAI is a thriving, inclusive network for anyone working with or interested in artificial intelligence across the Thames Valley region. Whether you’re an AI expert, student, business leader, academic, or just AI-curious—we’re here to help you connect, learn, share, and collaborate.
Supported by the University of Reading, TVAI brings together people from all sectors to explore the opportunities, challenges, and impacts of AI through regular in-person and online events.
Our Events:
🧠 TVAI Panel Events
Our flagship AI panel events are held at Henley Business School, regularly drawing over 100 attendees to discuss how AI is transforming sectors like healthcare, finance, education, and more. Expect lively, informed discussion, plenty of audience interaction, and a slice or two of pizza.
🛠️ TVAI Workshops
Smaller, practical sessions of 50–60 attendees where speakers showcase tools, techniques, and applications of AI. These events are designed to encourage questions, experimentation, and deeper learning. We’re working hard to bring you a comprehensive workshop & learning schedule for 2026, so watch this space!
🌍 Future Event Plans
We’re launching an annual TVAI Summit kicking off in September 2025, a new series of online events to expand TVAI’s reach and bring you expert insight from around the world, and there’s plenty more to come.

Get Involved
TVAI is on a mission to make the Thames Valley the #1 region for AI in the UK.
Beyond our events, we’re working on driving AI adoption across our region, we’re supporting local schools & colleges to get to grips with AI, and we’re developing a knowledge bank and policy positions to enable us to provide tangible advice to our community, and pertinent commentary on the critical questions posed by AI.
If you’d like to get involved in supporting our work, do get in touch!
