If you have ADHD (or just a very human brain), you’ve probably been told to “prioritize self-care”—but when every day is a game of survival, that can feel impossible. Self-care often gets pushed aside while we power through overwhelming tasks, show up for others, and try to hold everything together. And when we do finally rest, guilt creeps in.
But here’s the truth:
💛 You are worth taking care of.
💛 You need rest, nourishment, and joy.
💛 You deserve time to simply be.
💛 Self-care is not selfish—it’s essential.
That’s why we created Self-Care Sunday—a cozy, 90-minute virtual session designed to help you pause, reconnect, resparklize, and refill your cup—whatever that looks like for you.
We started with 45 minutes, thinking that felt manageable. But it turns out... we wanted more! More time to breathe. More time to care for ourselves. More space to actually feel restored. So now, we’re giving ourselves that time—because we deserve it.
Bring whatever feels restorative, such as:
🫖 A cup of tea and a face mask
📖 A book you’ve been meaning to read
📓 A journal and pen for free-writing
🧘 A meditation cushion, yoga mat, or cozy blanket
🎨 A coloring book, ukulele, or diamond art kit
✨ Or just your presence and permission to rest
What to Expect:
We’ll begin with a soft welcome and a chance to share what we’re focusing on (or not focusing on!). Then we’ll gently shift into self-care mode—on camera for presence, but fully tuned into ourselves.
No pressure. No productivity. Just presence.
This isn’t a time to plan or produce. It’s a space to breathe, recharge, and reconnect—with yourself and others.
You're a human being, not a human doing. This is your time to slow down, recharge, and reconnect—with yourself and with others who get it.
Session Structure:
- 2 PM - 2:10 PM (MST) Welcome, introductions, and set up your space
- 2:10 PM - 3:20 PM (MST) Time to ✨ Resparklize ✨ (spoken check-ins, but no "breaks")
- 3:20 PM - 3:30 PM (MST) Reflections and celebrate - spoken preferred, group chat okay, too
Let’s give ourselves what we so often give away: time, attention, and care.
Note: On those extra sparkly days where we have more to celebrate, we might find ourselves celebrating beyond our ending time. If you're on a time crunch and need to leave promptly, please raise your hand so you can be among the first to celebrate. The group chat box is also an option for anyone who may prefer it.
