# 🎲 International Tabletop Day 2026 🎲

I bet most of you didn't even know there was an actual holiday dedicated to board gaming.

Well... there is. 😄

And it's this Saturday!

International Tabletop Day is an annual celebration dedicated to promoting tabletop gaming and bringing people together around the table. It was first launched in 2013 by the hit web series TableTop, hosted by Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day, and quickly grew into a worldwide event with thousands of gatherings taking place across dozens of countries.

So naturally, we're doing our part here in Costa Mesa and joining the celebration!

## 🎲 What Is This Event?

Simple.

This is a full day of open gaming from3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Pitfire Pizza.

Bring your favorite games, claim a table, recruit some players, and let's spend the day celebrating the greatest hobby on Earth.

Unlike our regular Thursday night events, there will be:

✅ No organized game matching
✅ No scheduled teaching tables
✅ No formal hosting

Why?

Because for once...
I actually would love to sit down and play some games! 😂

## 🎲 Bring Your Own Games

This event is all about getting games to the table.
Have a favorite game you've been wanting to share?

Bring it.
Have a game that's been sitting on your Shelf of Shame waiting for the right group?

Bring it.

Have a big, epic, strategy-heavy game that never quite fits into our Thursday night session?

Definitely bring it.

This is the perfect opportunity for those longer, heavier games that deserve a little more table space and time to shine.

## 🎲 What's Available?

I'll be bringing a selection of personal favorites from the That Board Game Night library, including some of our most-loved community games.
That said, the more games people bring, the better the day becomes!

## 🎟️ Raffles & Entry

We'll keep the usual $5 contribution, which helps support our amazing Pitfire staff, maintain the TBGN game library, and fund some fun raffle prizes throughout the day.

To help us plan table space, seating, and raffle prizes, please submit your contribution when you RSVP for the event.
