Okay gamers...I'm REALLY excited about this one!
I'm teaming up with Kingslayer Games at their beautiful new Fountain Valley location for our first-ever That Board Game Guy x Kingslayer Board Game Day!
If you've been to one of our regular Thursday nights at Pitfire, you know the drill: I'll be bringing a huge selection from the That Board Game Guy Game Library, teaching games, helping put groups together, and making sure everyone gets to a table.
But for this special Saturday event, we're turning things up a notch!
🌟 SPOTLIGHT GAMES
We'll be featuring three games throughout the day with dedicated demos:
🐻 HOT STREAK – Mascot racing, betting, ridiculousness and a whole lot of yelling at adorably cute furries on a race track.
💣 BOMB BUSTERS – Winner of the 2025 Spiel des Jahres! Work together in this clever cooperative deduction game to defuse the bombs before things go BOOM.
🌕 MOON COLONY BLOODBATH – A 2026 Kennerspiel des Jahres nominee from Donald X. Vaccarino, designer of Dominion. Build your colony, develop your engine...and then try desperately to keep everything from falling apart.
🎁 AND YES...THERE WILL BE GIVEAWAYS!

I'll be bringing a big selection of games from my personal Game Library, and the rest of the gaming area will be available for open play. You're also welcome to bring games of your own.

Coming alone? COME ON DOWN. Seriously. You do not need to arrive with a group. One of the biggest reasons I started these events was to create a place where people can show up, meet some cool humans, and connect around a table.
