The first walk of the year: Ledbury to Malvern

This is our first walk of the year and it is an annual tradition, albeit on the Sunday rather than Saturday. This one is on Saturday 3 January.

The plan is to catch the train from Malvern Link at 0846 (tbc) to Ledbury and walk back from there. It will be a full day walk so bring food, drink and appropriate clothing. You'll also need a head torch or torch as it gets dark early.

You can park at Malvern Link for a small fee. It's also best to get a group ticket as it works out cheaper.

There is a good pub called The Weavers in Malvern which does a range of beers and other beverages.

We'll assess the weather nearer the day and adjust accordingly.
