Hey! I’m Chinenye — a 22-year-old poet, singer, and freshly minted TMU grad who’s always loved art, expression, and deep convos over good coffee. But let’s be real: Oakville (as peaceful as it is) isn’t exactly bursting with creative spaces for people in their 20s. It can feel like the town’s been handed over to retirees and baby strollers — and if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably found it hard to find your people here.
That’s why I created this group: to connect local creatives, dreamers, new grads, and artsy souls who are looking for real community — not just networking, but genuine, creative friendship. Whether you’re into poetry, music, photography, film, design, or just enjoy being around creative energy, this space is for you.
We’ll host casual hangouts, art crawls, poetry nights, coffee shop meetups, and maybe even collabs — primarily around Downtown Oakville and Bronte Village, but we’ll also stretch into Burlington, Mississauga, and Hamilton (because the art scene there is unreal). Open to suggestions, open to good vibes, and open to growing something meaningful.
