THE WALK:
PACE: comfortable pace - please do not go faster than the majority of the group. If you get ahead and do not know the venue you are responsible for yourself. Rule of thumb for safety, wait at all junctions and look behind to make sure you still see the group.
Difficulty: Easy/Moderate depending on fitness level
Distance: 11+/- kms (3-4kms longer if including the Houston Trail)
Elevation Gain: 59m Houston Trail if doing this trail.
Time: 3hrs +/- MORE if the trip is extended by doing the Houston Trail
Bring: Snack/lunch/water
Wear: Dress according to the weather/good footwear/pole if required
Season: All year
Meet Up: Brae Island parking lot.

Beautiful trail through Brae Island then walking along side the Fraser River with beautiful mountain views and other great scenery after crossing the bridge and going towards Derby Reach Regional Park (Houston Trail). There is an option to return at this point after lunch or walk the Houston Trail Loop before heading back to Brae Island. Well used amazing trail all year long. Mostly flat apart from the Houston Trail if included.
