Bonjour,

This is going a be a walk from Kingston to Putney along the Riverside on Thames.

Also known as the Thames path, it's a scenic walk amongst the woodland paths that are quaint, with a lot of bird life to be seen, along with boats trudging along the quiet Thames Riverside in Southwest London.

There are, potentially, many stops in between but we can decide on the basis of how the group feels like.

There is little to no elevation but the walk is about 12 miles flat with stops in between. Also, it's very well connected to tubes, buses and train stations all the way. We will be going at a slow to moderate pace, so as to enjoy the walk without it being too challenging but please do consider that the overall distance is substantial for beginner walkers. Walking shoes are recommended, with a couple litres of water but there'll be shops in between in case someone forgets :)

We will end the walk at Putney Bridge at the Weatherspoons. The tube station is right next to it on District Line which connects to most other lines in a few stops.
