Driven by a "familial legacy" and the sting of a past failure that left his bloodline in exile, Kody seeks to bridge the gap between a broken past and a fortified future. By completing the legendary Forging of the Fallen Crown, he intends to craft armaments that will ensure his descendants never again fall prey to the whims of the supernatural. The path leads the party into the skeletal remains of a Shattered Kingdom. Once a bastion of unyielding pride, its walls were leveled during a Great War, leaving behind a graveyard of ambition where the air still thrums with the echoes of defeat. Primary Objectives: Material Acquisition To complete the ritual of the forge, the party must secure three "Wondrous Upgrade Materials" scattered across the ruins: Arcanometal: A volatile, shapeshifting alloy. It possesses a reactive "intelligence," adapting its form and density instantly to meet the demands of active combat. Kingswood Heart: Harvested from the Thorinswood, a forest named for the conquering monarchs of old. It represents the sturdy, unyielding soul of the land. Draconic Scales: Ancient trophies forged in the literal breath of a Gold Dragon, imbued with the "wondrous draconic power" required to bind the crown’s enchantments.
