Zen Paws: Reiki & Sound Healing with Cats

You are invited to join Laura Barna of Hearts Kitchen and Coaching and Tina McDonald of The Agape House on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 7 pm in Lombard for a relaxing and healing Sound Bath Healing Meditation with Reiki to raise money for St. Sophia's which is a no-kill cat shelter located in Wheaton. And YES, there will be adorable kitties you can interact with that night (and maybe become the newest member of your family).

Sound bath & Reiki I always say are a double dose of healing - with this event, with the companionship of our feline friends, you will receive a triple dose of healing. Cats are believed to be highly attuned to energy frequencies that are imperceptible to most humans, enabling them to sense, absorb, and transmute energies, both positive and negative. This capacity is why they are often considered spiritual protectors and healing companions.

Whether you're looking to melt away stress, connect to gentle animal energy, or simply treat yourself to a unique night of peace and presence—this event is for you.

No need to bring yoga mats. Because participants will be receiving the healing touch of Reiki (unless otherwise requested not to), you will be comfortably seated while meditating. Feel free to bring water as hydration is important after this meditation. Every participant has the option of receiving an Oracle card pull at the end of the meditation.
