About us
The Agentic AI Engineering Lab: Build, Break & Iterate
The Vibe: Agentic AI is moving too fast for "best practices." We are a community of practitioners who believe that the only way to truly understand this shift is to get our hands dirty. We are here to experiment, debug, and learn from each other in a familiar, boardroom-style setting.
Our Dual-Track Approach
To bridge the gap between "cool tech" and "real value," we run two distinct types of meetups:
- The Tech Lab (Deep Tech): This is for the builders. We take a specific technical challenge (like MCP, RAG, or Multi-Agent orchestration), open our laptops, and build. We dissect architectures, compare code, and discuss how to handle context loops and hallucinations in production.
- Business & Use Case Strategy: We identify and discuss real-world workflows that are ready for mature agentic AI applications today. Our focus is on evaluating ROI and practical feasibility—often defining the specific problems we then tackle in our Tech Lab sessions.
We run our sessions like an anthology series: Every meetup is a standalone sprint. While we often build on previous results, each session provides a complete experience and remains fully accessible to first-time attendees.
Current Focus: The February MCP Sprints (Tech Building Events)
Coming up on Feb 14th & 21st: We are launching a two-part Tech Sprint to build and harden a production-ready Model Context Protocol (MCP) server from scratch.
What We Do (The Lab Ethos)
- Show & Tell: Share what you are working on—especially if it’s currently broken. That’s where the learning happens.
- Architectural Teardowns: We move beyond the "Hello World" and discuss failure modes, guardrails, and latency.
- Collaborative Hacking: Bring your laptop. We don't just watch slides; we solve coding challenges live.
Who is this for?
This group is for professionals who want to actively shape the future, not just watch from the sidelines. Whether you are a software engineer exploring LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI, or an entrepreneur looking to implement agentic workflows, we want your voice in the room.
The Logistics
- 📍 Location: Our private boardroom in the Grunewald area (near Martin-Luther Hospital). The exact address will be shared after RSVP.
- 🎟 Capacity: Strictly limited to 6 seats to ensure high-density discussions.
- 🍕 The "Pizza & Coffee" Deal: Events are non-profit. A commitment deposit is usually required to cover high-quality catering, with surplus refunded to participants.
Join us if you’re ready to co-create the next generation of workflows. Let’s build, break, and iterate together.
