Albuquerque artist Peter Grahame will be with us on Dec. 18 at 1:00 PM to present a Major Arcana he created, using photography and digital imaging, with real people portraying the ancient archetypes. As an artist Peter has worked with masks and other mixed media. When he became interested in photography it blended with his long interest in the Tarot both as a subject and as a former reader himself. He calls it "The Peacock Tarot" and it is meant to be a photographic and artistic essay on the figures in the Major Arcana. He considers it to be a useful meditation deck for those studying the Tarot, and yet it can also be used for readings focusing only on the 22 Major Arcana cards. Peter self-published a very limited edition of these cards. Using a computer presentation, he will be discussing each card and the creative process that went into this evocative set.

Please note that we will have a pot luck from Noon until 1PM, so bring your favorite food to share and don't forget your tarot cards for slam readings.
