July 4th cookout at Thompson Park with Wonderland afterward

Come celebrate the 4th of July by doing what America expects—drinking, BBQing, and pushing the boundaries of good judgment! We'll meet at Thompson Park around 3 pm to crack open some beverages and fire up the grill for a relaxed late lunch/early dinner. I'll handle the grilling supplies and bring a Cornhole setup—just bring your favorite food to grill and drinks to keep things lively.
After we've sufficiently indulged, we'll head over to Wonderland Amusement Park. Brace yourself as we tempt fate by riding the Texas Tornado as many times as humanly possible (participation totally optional, nausea potentially guaranteed). I'll arrive early to stake out a prime spot, and I'll post GPS coordinates and directions.
Stick around for fireworks: there should be some at Hodgetown following the 7:05 pm game and we might be able to see them from Wonderland. Let's celebrate independence the American way: slightly reckless, definitely delicious, and undeniably fun!
