Don Coscarelli burst onto the scene with his first horror film, an eerie and totally original cult classic. Two brothers discover something evil lurks within their neighborhood cemetery and soon find themselves battling the Tall Man, one of the scariest villains in horror history, played to masterful effect by Angus Scrimm.

Jerry Mitchell (Casey Siemaszko) gets a tough assignment for his high school paper: to write a profile of Buddy Revell (Richard Tyson), a violent kid who just transferred in from a continuation school. Though Jerry's overtures to the new student are well-intentioned, Buddy lays down a threat – the two will settle things with a fight in the parking lot at the end of the school day. As 3:00 PM approaches, Jerry does everything he can think of to avoid the confrontation. This underrated teen comedy features a soundtrack by Tangerine Dream.
