About us

Welcome to The Aquatic Enthusiasts Social Club! We're a group of people who share a genuine passion for fishkeeping and everything that goes along with it. Whether you've been keeping fish for decades or just set up your first tank last month, you'll find a welcoming community here. We get together regularly to talk shop, share advice, swap stories about our tanks, and help each other troubleshoot problems. This is a judgment-free zone where questions are always welcome and nobody's going to make you feel bad about a failed breeding attempt or a tank disaster.

We typically meet to discuss topics like tank setup, equipment, different fish species, water chemistry, planted tanks, breeding, and general care. Meetings are pretty casual and laid-back. You might bring photos of your setup, ask for recommendations, or just listen and learn. Some of us are into planted tanks, others prefer saltwater, and some are dedicated cichlid keepers. The diversity of experience in the group is really what makes it valuable. We've found that the best way to improve as aquarists is to learn from each other's experiences, both successes and failures.

If you love your aquariums and want to connect with other people who get it, come join us. You don't need to be an expert, and you don't need to have a perfectly decorated showpiece tank. Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm for fish and aquatic life, and you'll fit right in.
