Greetings Artists,
My name is Arlesia (Dr. Les) and I am excited to introduce myself as the new organizer for this Artists Group. It is an absolute honor to be part of a group that celebrates rich artistry while providing a platform for Artists, collectors, and community members to connect, create, and collaborate.
As a lifelong admirer of the Arts and an advocate for community engagement, Former, Fine Art Gallery Owner of Two Galleries, a Sewing Academy, and an Art & Accessory Buyer of 13 years for a major furniture company, Art Judge for Gwinnett County PTA Reflections Programs, I am committed to building on the amazing foundation that has brought us together. My vision is to enhance opportunities for Artists, Musicians, Creative Writers, and Designers, just to name a few.... to thrive, perform, and share their passion with the wider community.
We've rebranded and Under my leadership, I plan to:
Host Networking and Performance Events: Organize exhibits, showcases, jam sessions, and open mics where artists and musicians can show their work, perform, and connect with artists, music enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, businesses, and families.
Expand Art & Music Exposure: Provide avenues for members to promote their artwork and music within the community and beyond—whether through local partnerships, social media, or events.
Support Creative Growth: Foster an environment where artists can share their talents, and explore sponsorship opportunities for greater visibility.
Strengthen Community Ties: Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to spotlight Artists while enriching the cultural fabric of our community.
We understand that becoming a professional artist can sometimes feel like an uphill battle, filled with questions, doubts, and uncertainties. This Meet-Up Group is designed to support you every step of the way!
Whether you're an artist looking to share your voice, a fan eager to support local talent, or a business seeking unique opportunities, I invite you to join me in making this group a hub of creativity, connection, and celebration.
Remember, this Artist Meet-Up Group is about not only enhancing your skills but also building lasting connections with fellow artists. Together, we'll navigate the path to becoming professional artists and create something truly extraordinary. Let's create art, inspire one another, and realize our dreams!
