Flow on Demand: Rituals for Focus & Inspiration
Details
Creative flow is often treated like a rare mood you stumble into. But what if it’s something you can enter on cue: reliably, deliberately, almost ceremonially?
In this transformative interactive workshop, we’ll explore how creativity responds to pattern, environment, and embodied cues, and how you can design your own creative rituals to access focus and inspiration without the usual friction, overthinking, or waiting around for the “right moment.”
This is where neuroscience meets contemplative practice.
We’ll move through three layers of creative practice:
- Understanding flow: what actually triggers it (and what quietly blocks it)
- Designing ritual: small, repeatable actions that signal “it’s time to create”
- Building Flow Anchors: personalised cues you can use anytime to enter a focused, generative state
Expect a mix of short teaching, guided reflection, and a powerful exercise where you’ll create your own Flow Anchor, something you can start using immediately.
What you’ll leave with
- A clear understanding of how creative flow actually works
- A set of daily rituals that support focus without burnout
- Your own Flow Anchor (a personalised, embodied trigger for entering creative work)
- A way of integrating the practical and the intuitive sides of your practice
Who this is for
- Writers, artists, and creatives who struggle with inconsistency
- Coaches, thinkers, and practitioners developing a creative rhythm
- Anyone who wants to stop waiting for inspiration—and start working with it
No prior experience needed. Just bring something to write with and a willingness to experiment!
