The Art of Financial Mediation is a group, where Account Payables and Account Receivables specialists can exchange experience, learn from one another and from us — Matthieu and Thomas. We bring 40+ years of experience in founding and managing companies, especially through difficult times in regard to AP and AR.

The group is intended for professionals in the area of AP and AR such as CFOs or such, who are de facto in a CFO role, regardless of their job title and job description description, as well as for professionals, who are specifically focused on or involved — one way or another — in the work around AP and AR, such as account managers, legal, etc. Freelancers can profit from the group as well.

We have experience w/ helping both seasoned professionals as well as young professionals, who make their first steps in the said roles and face the said challenges for the first time.

In addition to the peer-to-peer exchange w/in the group, Matthieu and Thomas offer pro bono, practical and hands on advice on:

1/ How to identify why Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable have slipped beyond the payment terms.

This is, surprisingly often and to a large extent, caused by the business itself and can have a number of interwoven root causes stretching along the whole relationship lifecycle.

and

2/ How to fix that, starting w/ the most recent unpaid invoices and then fixing the situation altogether and end-to-end, and eventually preventing such situations to occur.

We listen, and provide concrete examples and guidelines.

In case, that there are no concrete questions, we make a general presentation.

LANGUAGE

In our experience a significant number of professionals in the afore described roles are English speaking.

Therefore English, together w/ German and French, is one of the main languages of this group.
