WomenRock! at the Princeton Shopping Center

Six female vocalists, backed by Princeton-area musicians, perform hits by women rock pioneers. Historically, female rock musicians have taken a back seat to their male counterparts, but women have been rocking our world with their music for over 80 years.

The show will include songs from the 1950s to the present and feature hits by artists such as Pink, Tori Amos, Aretha Franklin, Brandi Carlile, Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin and many others. The vocalists will be backed by some of the strongest rock musicians currently performing in Princeton area bands.

Come a little early and plan to grab dinner at one of our many dining options for concert-goers of all ages. Pizza, tacos, salads, chicken, sandwiches and more, and don't forget refreshing water ice + soft serve from Rita's Italian Ice.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Look for my chair with the red umbrella so you can sit with your fellow wanderers.
