This is a social community for people who love art, poetry, writing, creativity, and thoughtful conversation.

You don't have to be a professional artist. You don't have to have published poetry. You don't even have to consider yourself particularly creative.

You only need to be curious.

The idea behind this group is simple: adulthood can make genuine friendship surprisingly difficult. We have jobs, families, responsibilities and routines, and somewhere along the way many of us lose the natural communities we once had.

So I wanted to create one.

We'll gather in small groups to paint, sketch, write, read poetry, visit galleries and museums, explore bookstores, attend creative events, drink coffee, have dinner, talk about ideas, and occasionally just sit around a table and get to know one another.

Some gatherings will involve making art.

Some will involve poetry.

Some will involve exploring art together.

And some will simply involve conversation.

No artistic experience is required.

Bring your sketchbook, your unfinished poem, the painting you haven't touched in six months, your curiosity, or simply yourself.
