Song Studio Saturday Auditions!

Introducing Studio Song Saturday!
Studio Song Saturday: This new and dynamic intensive program will consist of a monthly coachings on a Saturday with some of the leading experts in the field of French and German song interpretation. Select singers will work in a small group setting on diction, style, and song interpretation. Select singers from the studio will go on to present an evening recital in the spring of 2015.

The pianist and coach for the French Song Studio & Recital is Thomas Grubb. The pianist and coach for the German Song Studio & Recital is Thomas Muraco.

Auditions will be held Saturday, Sept 27th starting at 1pm on the UWS (west 73rd street). The exact address will be sent to those who contact us formally regarding an audition.

Audition repertoire requirements - 3 Mélodies of contrasting style if you are interested in performing in the Mélodie Recital in 2015

Fees: The cost for participation is $300 for the Fall Term (breaks down to $75 per session) and $300 for the Winter/Spring term (breaks down to $75 per session). Additional coachings can be scheduled privately with the Mr. Grubb or Mr. Muraco as needed in preparation for the recitals.

Monthly payments can be made in lieu of payments in full for the term however the pricing for monthly payments is $100 a month. Priority will be given to singers who pass the audition and can make most of the sessions each term. The application fee is $35 and if you are interested in using the ASPS pianist for the audition, Arthur Williford, there will be an additional $35 fee. Singers are free to come to the audition with his/her own pianist.
