Looking for art classes in Finchley? The old stables in the grounds of the Sternberg Centre have been transformed into an exciting arts space called The Art Stables.
We run a variety of art classes and workshops including classes in oil painting, acrylics, watercolour, portrait painting, life drawing, clay sculpture, lino cut and lots more.
New courses start throughout the year and students can enrol at any time.
The Art Stables offers a welcoming bright and airy space where these classes take place for all ages and sections of the community.

Festive Portrait Workshop
The Art Stables, 80 East End Road, East Finchley, N3 2SY, London, GBJoin us for an afternoon of portrait painting or drawing with tutor Jess Miller. Fabulous model, Meghann, will be festively dressed for the season and hold a long pose, so you can create a festive piece of work. Use your finished piece in one of your own Festive Creations or share with all your family and friends as one of the year's highlights.
Please bring along your own art materials - we'll supply the mince pies!

Card-Making with Watercolours

Tutor Cathy Burkinshaw will guide you in painting your own beautiful images on cards ready to give to your family and friends. You will have time to make a few cards that will be provided and you will leave with the skills to make many more yourself at home.
