Freedom (EN) Art Therapy Workshop

Details
What does freedom mean to you?
How free are you?
Can you speak, feel, move, love, hate, make mistakes, cry or laugh freely?
When do you feel most liberated?
Does freedom limit or do limitations/boundaries give you freedom?
What is holding you back?
Is my freedom mine or someone else's?
In these few hours, in a small, safe and accepting environment, you can freely experience what wants to change and be in the here and now. You will receive support in recognising what is no longer working, and strength and courage for the path of change.
Come to create.
Come to connect.
Come as you are.
What is the point?
To experience who you really are, FREELY.
Location: Kisvilág, 1074, Budapest, Szövetség utca 11.
Date: Saturday, August 1., 09:30-12:30 (2,5-3 hrs)
This is event is donations based. Facebook 'Interested or Going' does not qualify as part of registration, therefore please send an e-mail to jennifernyerki@gmail.com
What is Art therapy?
Art therapy is a tool that uses creativity to express feelings and thoughts (mostly) nonverbally. Express, explore, understand and gain valuable new perspectives. Our conscious and unconscious inner world appears in the works, thus giving us the opportunity to get to know ourselves more deeply. Experience the power of a group setting, where we listen, connect and support each other through the process.
Important: I do not recommend the group to people with serious neurological disorders or those undergoing psychiatric treatment. The workshop does not qualify as and does not replace psychotherapy but is a great addition to the self discovery journey.
Who is the workshop for?
- Those who are open to discovering themselves.
- Those who enjoy creating in a community and want to connect with others.
- Those who would like to break away from everyday life for a few hours and spend this time on themselves.
- Those who are curious and want to try something new.
What to expect:
- Topic – you bring it and everything else: authenticity, vulnerability, body image, values, boundaries, etc.
- Creative exercises (individual and group) that help you gain insight into the given topic
- A safe space where you can experience the power of being in a group and be yourself without taboos
- Conversation, sharing, connection
- Coffee, tea (honor collection) + small treats
