Women's Day Kintsugi - Art Therapy Workshop
Details
This is a paid and Women only event!
In honor of International Women’s Day (8th of March), we celebrate not only strength and success, but also resilience — the quiet, powerful kind that lives in every woman’s story. Every scar, every lesson, and every woman who continues to rise — stronger, wiser, and beautifully whole.
Kintsugi dates back to the 15th century and means “joining with gold” in Japanese. A broken object (ceramic) is glued together with lacquer and then the seams are covered with gold. Wabi Sabi, related to Kintsugi, is the philosophy of embracing our flaws and life’s fragility.
During the workshop, we will go through the various processes of Kintsugi – breaking, grinding, joining, gluing, gilding – thereby we will also see our own vulnerability on the path to becoming whole.
