Artful Gelli Integrating Text - Please Read All Details - 3 Day Workshop

Essentials:
1. You will be considered registered once you email me to pay your class fees.
Since the workshop is limited to three students, you might want to do that soon.
2. You must also sign up here on Meetup.
3. Please include your phone number in the email so I can text you pertinent information a week before class.

4. You need to purchase your own 8 x 10 Gelli Plate ( I recommend Gel Press brand- $27).
5. This series is great for both beginners and those with Gel printmaking experience.

Saturdays, March 14, 21, & 28
9:00-11:30am

Workshop fees:
For all three sessions: $100
For two: $80
For a single session: $40

Session One: Text Transfer - learn several methods of transferring text into your Gelli monoprints (including but not limited to Letraset, magazine text transfer, linocut, Posca pen and oil pastel rubbings).

Session Two: Magazine Image & Text Transfer - learn how to successfully create beautiful art work with magazine image & text transfers, handmade stencils and more. I have a few magazines, but you might wish to bring your own (of the heavier glossy paper variety).

Session Three: Mixed Media Abstract Composition or Landscape - Create a mixed media abstract composition or landscape which incorporates text transfer, texturing and chine collee. Learn how to use masking to transfer text to a specific area with precision.

Tools and materials will be provided.
