Join award winning printmaker Nicola Cowie for a linocut workshop at our store in Guildford.
This is a great workshop for beginners and practicing artists as Nicola guides you through a step-by -step process. Developing a drawing Transferring it to your lino, safe cutting and carving techniques and ink mixing. She will give you an introduction to the best papers for hand-printing and the fun bit… printing multiples of your design exploring colour and papers
Whether you just want to enjoy being creative for a few hours or you want to grow your creative practice this workshop is for you. It gives you all the skills you need to create multiple prints from one plate without the use of a press or any expensive equipment so you can easily recreate the setup at home and continue the printmaking fun.
