Artist's Way Virtual Mini Retreat

Details

Struggling to pick up The Artist's Way and stick with it? Is Julia Cameron's book calling to you but you keep just saying, "soon" without engaging with your creative journey? Missed out on joining the Creative Circles earlier this year?

Join us for The Artist's Way Virtual Mini Retreat!

Spend a leisurely Sunday morning with other likeminded creatives who might be feeling a little stuck and could use some supportive accountability to just do the thing.

We will spend time writing our morning pages together, engaging with our mindset and creating a safe welcoming community and making time for that long awaited Artist Date.

Agenda:
Welcome

Morning Pages- Discussion about the beauty of ritualizing a journaling practice followed with a 30 minute block to actually write your Morning Pages

Mindset and Tasks - Interactive discussion and activities addressing the inner critic and overcoming those fears

Artist's Date - You know that thing you keep saying you want to do again or to try? This is your time to do it. Gather the supplies you need for your chosen activity and we will collectively spend 45 minutes doing it without the need for perfection or any sort of pressure for a finished product. The joy is in the doing, in making the time and space for yourself to play. Start writing that short story, pick up the paintbrush again, play a song on the keyboard, create a dance, practice your stitching--whatever it is, this is the time to just do it.

Show and Tell - Time to share what you did in a safe supportive group. You can show your painting, share a line of poetry, or just give an update on what you engaged in and how it felt. Again, no pressure and no judgment.

Closing
