Every year, near to the waxing northern cross-quarter day, Aretéans gather in their communities to celebrate science and the Second Tenet of Aretéanism with the holiday of "Understanding Day"!
We've got a whole day of activities planned!
- 9:00 — Breakfast
- 10:30 — Natural History Museum
- 12:30 — Picnic Lunch: Hot Reuben Burritos
- 13:00 — Natural History Museum
- 14:30 — Science-y board games
- 16:30 — Science experiments presentations
- 18:00 — Potluck dinner
- 19:30 — Holiday Convocation
- 20:15 — Party On

The AoA will cover the cost of your admission to the Natural History Museum! We'll meet at the north entrance at 1030h!
Can only attend one thing? Come to our convocation at 1930h! It's the main celebration of the beginning of the season!
P.S. The dress code throughout the day is formal! Think prom-style attire! Our flavor profile for the potluck dinner is savory, complex, and acquired tastes!
