The inaugural ACAS reboot event is here! (and it's a bit of a cheat)

First, please don't let this event define the group. I assure you there'll be a variety of experiences, the next likely being much more sophisticated. For now...

Let's get our sweet vodka drink on and (ideally) dress up in costumes to match the dark arts theme of the Boozy Cauldron Pop-up Tavern, which is traveling through Austin for a couple weekends. Here's a description of the event from their web site:

The Boozy Cauldron Tavern is popping up in cities across America for a 4-part Cocktail Experience and show led by Professor Ivy Grey, current professor of the Beverage Arts, and her cocktail wizards. You will be taken on a magical journey where you can imbibe on the four delicious signature cocktails (including old-fashioned buttered beer) and hear and feel the stories surrounding the famous tavern and the ghosts that still haunt the establishment.

That's right, the event includes four cocktails!

I was able to secure a block of discounted tickets for our group: $42.75 ($15 off the regular price of $57.75 including fees). First buy = First get, so grab your ticket ASAP:

Once this block of 14 discounted tickets sell out, you may purchase tickets directly from the Boozy Cauldron web site at full price:

It's important if you purchase a ticket you select the "Attend" option in the MeetUp invite, as I need to alert the Event Manager at least a day prior to our arrival how many will be in our group, this so they can carve out an area for us. For those that purchase discounted tickets, please contact me for instructions on how to gain will call entry (if I'm unable to reach out to you proactively).

Since we'll be in costume, be downtown, and have a nice buzz, I vote we keep the party going by wandering around downtown and merrily spooking the locals at other drinking establishments.

Drop me a line directly if you have questions, otherwise hope to see ya'll there!
