Welcome to the first-ever event for The Awkward Queer Lounge!
This is our soft launch, a gentle, no-pressure hangout to ease into connection and community in the most comfy way possible.

What to Expect:

This is a low-key, outdoor chill session for anyone who just wants to exist peacefully with other queer folks. There’s no structured activity, just cozy, quiet vibes where you can:
✨ Sit and sip
✨ Color or journal
✨ Gently chat (or not)
✨ Be around others without pressure to perform or socialize too much

What I’ll Provide:
🌈 A coloring station with markers, coloring books, and paper
🌈 Light snacks (simple and pre-packaged)
🌈 Chill, introvert-friendly vibes

What You Should Bring:

🍄 A soft blanket or towel to sit on

🍄 Your favorite drink to share — bring something you love (a juice, soda, tea, etc.)

• It doesn’t need to be fancy or large, just something you enjoy
• We’ll use it as a soft, no-pressure way to learn a little about each other

🍄 Optional: a comfort item (book, fidget, stuffie, etc.)
🍄 Optional: your own journal, sketchbook, or craft project

This isn’t a potluck, just a cute, intentional way to show up with something small and personal that reflects you 💛
