What weโre about
A group for adults in their late 20s to early 40s where the activities are just the backdrop โ what really matters is the people you're spending time with.
We do hikes, game nights, seasonal outings, coffee hangs, and more. The plans are fun, but what we're really building here is a space where actual friendships can form โ the kind where you remember conversations from last time and genuinely look forward to seeing each other.
Note: Formerly "In Good Company." Same group, same energy โ just a new name.
Our approach
We're aiming for about one main event per month, plus occasional pop-ups and seasonal extras when schedules allow. Designed for people with full calendars who still want meaningful social connection that doesn't feel overwhelming.
The intention is to build a community that grows at a comfortable pace โ where people see familiar faces and actually connect over time. We're still new (just started!), growing thoughtfully, keeping the culture strong as we go.
The vibe
This is for people who can hold a conversation, jump into activities naturally, and genuinely enjoy spending time with others. We like easy, balanced conversation โ everyone gets a chance to be heard. Just good back-and-forth where everyone gets to participate. (Iโm happy to make introductions and help break the ice!)
The energy here is relaxed but engaged. Some events are low-key (coffee, creative hangs), others are more active (hikes, escape rooms). Either way, people show up ready to be present โ not performative, not passive, just real.
We're creating a space where people can actually become friends, not just friendly faces at events. Good energy, genuine connection, and the kind of group that feels worth showing up for.
Age range is 29โ44. We're past surface-level small talk but haven't lost our sense of humor. Deeper conversations happen, but so do ridiculous jokes.
Some events might include alcohol, but this isn't a drinking or party group. Also not for networking or selling.

Thrills & Chills: Pennhurst + Pub Stop ๐
Pennhurst Asylum, 601 N Church St, Spring City, PA, USFor anyone who loves haunted houses and has some flexibility in late October, Iโm heading to Pennhurst Asylum with a friend. Itโs one of the most intense haunted attractions in the area โ dark, immersive, and full of genuine scares (think flashing lights, tight spaces, and actors who will touch you!). Weโll grab a drink and some apps at Downtown Gastropub in Royersford afterward to debrief and recover. ๐
I've already got my ticket โ just opening this up in case anyone else wants to join. This is a bonus October event โ if haunted houses aren't your thing or the price doesn't work, no worries at all. Our kickoff (and main) event for October is the hike on the 12th.
๐ THE PLAN
- Date: Friday, October 24, 2025
- Haunted House Time: 6:30 PM entry (arrive by 6:15 PM)
- Meeting Point: Just outside the security entrance โ I'll be holding a bright orange flag so you can find me
- Location: Pennhurst Asylum, Spring City, PA
- After: Drinks & apps at Downtown Gastropub & Restaurant (~2 mile drive)
Getting to Pennhurst: You'll go down a long road for what seems like forever, but there are arrows (and sometimes workers) guiding you to the parking area. I've posted a few pictures to help you know what to expect.
