Our very first hybrid event! Thanks to the folks at Klik Solutions, we will have our very first hybrid event -- this means you can attend either in person or on Zoom.

Join Roman Shraga, CTO of Klik Solutions, for a practical conversation about cybersecurity for real-world users, WordPress site owners, and small organizations.

Whether you’re a freelancer managing dozens of client websites, a nonprofit running on a shoestring, a content creator, or just getting started with WordPress — the truth is the same: Your site is part of the internet’s attack surface.

In this session, Roman will walk us through what modern cybersecurity actually looks like for WordPress-powered businesses, organizations, and professionals.

You’ll learn:

• Why are small sites valuable to attackers (even if you don’t store sensitive data).
• What common tools and habits quietly create hidden risks — even for
  experienced devs.
• A tiered roadmap for improving your security, no matter your budget.
• How to think about digital risk beyond just plugins and passwords.

Schedule:

• 11am: arrive for those coming in person, we will have open networking & general WP Q&A from 11am - 11:30am.
• 11:30am: presentation on cyber security.
• 12pm: Q&A on cyber security, bring your questions!

Parking info:
When you pull into the parking lot (entrance photo below), you can park in any open parking spots. Though we share parking with a gym, there are no off-limit spots.

Directions once you park your car: Walk to the black building towards Key Highway.

This is a virtual meetup on Zoom for you to ask your WordPress questions and help you fix problems with your website.

The answerer for this meetup will be Gen Herres, owner of Anphira Web Design & Development, and a WordPress veteran of over a decade. She's built and remodeled hundreds of WordPress sites.

Don't have a question? You can still come and see what others ask - you might learn something!

We're asking you to submit questions in advance (please use the form at https://forms.gle/Th6AZUbS2GoiCEJz5) so that we can gather common ones together to answer them. But if you'd like to share your screen when it's your turn during the meetup, just let us know on the registration form!

You'll be muted on entry, we'll be using the chat to queue people up/ask follow-on questions.

The meetup will run 12pm ET until 1pm ET or until we finish up the questions, whichever comes first. If you pre-submitted your question and are not present, then your question will be skipped.
