Intermediate - Diada Special - Tossa de Mar loop from Blanes

This Thursday we’re heading out for a special bank holiday adventure on the Costa Brava.

We’ll meet at 7.45am at Plaça Catalunya station and take the 8:00am R1 train towards Maçanet-Massanes (I strongly suggest you buy your ticket in advance).
We arrive in Blanes at 9:22, from there we start riding!

The route begins with a flat warm-up before climbing and rolling down to Tossa de Mar. Expect one of the most scenic sections of the region: the coastal road winding above the bluest waters of the Costa Brava. After that, we’ll tackle a climb inland, loop through the countryside, and return along the coast and all the way to Blanes, where we’ll catch the train home.

We may stop for coffee in Tossa on the way back, or head straight to the station depending on timing. Expect to be back in Barcelona around 3–4pm, depending on train connections.
