Get ready for 110km and 1600m of climbing as we head north to conquer one of the region's most iconic balcony roads.

We start sharp at 9:30 AM from Plaça de Lesseps. We’ll warm up with the short and steady ascent of La Ventosa to get the legs moving. After crossing the Besòs, the pace will pick up. Expect some solid teamwork and drafting on the winding roads as we push north; while this is not a drop ride, you should be confident holding a wheel at 40km/h. We keep it tight and regroup quickly after roundabouts to ensure the bunch stays together.
Then, we hit the main event: El Farell. This is a classic 6km climb with an average of 7.4%, but don't let the numbers fool you. It’s a road of two halves—starting with gentle slopes through the pines before ramping up with some spicy 10-11% ramps.
We’ll stop for a much-needed coffee at the top before beginning the long descent. The way back to Barcelona is mostly downhill and fast. We might push the pace on the open sections, but keep a little fuel in the tank for the final climb back via Sant Cugat.

As a reference for climbing pace, an Arrabassada time around 16 minutes fits the expected level.
