Freestyle Dance Party and Improvisational Sound & Movement Playshop

Raise up your voice and lift up your feet! At the next Boogie, we'll kick things off with a one-hour Improvisational Sound and Movement Playshop led by Ben Silver. A teaching artist, musician and longtime member of the Barefoot Boogie community, Ben has worked as a CircleSong facilitator coast to coast and ran a monthly CircleSing in Manhattan for close to a decade.

Then, stay for some juicy freestyle dancing with DJs Mink and Synchrony Sid to spinning the tunes and Stewart Hoyt to spice it all up with projected live action drawing!

Come for just the workshop, or the boogie, or both! Suggested donation is $20 at the door, with proceeds going to support the Camp Friendship Food Pantry. Our events are a great way to let loose and connect with other likeminded (and like-footed) folks in a safe, sober and casual environment. Clean shoes are permitted on the dance floor.
