Pendine Sands beach is renowned for its motoring history, where 146mph was recorded for the first time - not bad for 1924! Today, its smooth, accessible sands beckon holidaymakers and locals alike, and is a popular spot for a dip, if you can brave the water! A 30 minute drive will take you to Tenby, a picturesque beach town with pastel houses lining its promenade. A true suntrap, its North and South beaches are ideal for basking on a warm day.
