Join us for our challenging book club starting back up again with Pat's choice: The Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa. Pat recommends we read the translation by Jull Costa rather than the Penguin edition.

We will be discussing the whole book in this meeting.
February's meeting will be on 9th February, discussing The Waste Land by T S Eliot. Again, we will discuss the whole text in that meeting.
We will then move on to The Canterbury Tales in March. Jeremy will talk to the group about his ideas for dividing this text up to read in chunks at January's meeting and I will post on here editions recommended in due course.
Location for January will hopefully be The Folk House - but this is to be confirmed. I need to check if there will be a loud event on. I'll confirm in the next few days.
The Folk House serves food, cake, tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcohol. Please at least buy a drink to support the venue.
