Join us for our challenging book club to discuss the first section of The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer.
Jeremy recommends the Penguin translation by Nevill Coghill. We intend to read it in three sections of around 160 pages each.
In this first meeting, we will be discussing:
The General Prologue*
The Knight's Tale*
The Miller*
The Reeve*
The Cook
The Man of Law
The Shipman

Unfortunately the Folk House cafe is closed over the Easter holidays. However, Pinkman's run the cafe at Bristol Cathedral so this is a good opportunity for us to try somewhere else.
Pinkman's are a local bakery/cafe with a reputation for good food/cakes. Please at least buy a drink to support the venue. I will be having lunch here as it's healthy, yummy and budget friendly.
